Adding to kitchen/bath circuit

Can I add a few GFCI Receptacles in the Kitchen & Bathroom that the same Breaker is wired to Bedroom and/or Livingroom, and what is the limited. (this is in San Francisco, CA - MultiFamily Unit "Condo") The reason I asked, cause, I just FAILED FINAL INSPECTION ELECTRICAL on last Friday, Dec-7-07, and this is really a messed up work cause there is no Attic/Crawl Space, in this case I have to open up the wall again......

Please help.

You should really start a new thread with a different question. No you cannot wire kitchen recep. or bathroom receptacle to a branch circuit that originates outside these rooms. Read art 210.52 (B) (1) &(B)(2) for kitchens and 210.11(C)(3)

No, I am not an Electrician, But, I am a B Licensed "General Contractor" for my own small business......and did all the work with 1 worker......and I do everything to save some $$$$$ plus, this is a small job.....
 
In most jurisdictions you will need to be a licensed electrician to add receptacles and/or circuits and the work should be inspected. Check the rules in your jurisdiction, you may be exposing yourself to a great deal of liability in order to save a few bucks (expense that should be passed along to the customer along with your markup).

So much for "Plan A". Next time you need minor surgery....................
as has been noted in the Forum often, if you did not know these Code requirements, what other issues might you overlook that the inspector didn't catch. As haskindm states, you might be penny wise and pound foolish not letting a professonial EC take care of your electrical.
