Thanks in advance for clearing up some conflicting information. I am Installing a 100 amp subpanel in inside attic fed from 200 amp newly updated Square D main panel on outside house wall. Distance is about 30'. I am proposing 1-1-1-3 aluminum SER cable (or 3-3-3-5 copper SER). I believe SER must be in PVC on outside of house. Proposing 1-1/2" PVC-80 with all straight run except one curved elbow near main and one LB box to direct SER into attic to run SER behind knee wall to subpanel. No conduit on SER once in house - just secured to underside of rafters behind knee wall to subpanel. 100 amp 75C rated breakers in main and subpanel. I understand isolating the ground and neutral bars in subpanel. I believe the subpanel is 75C rated as it is advertised as 100 amp panel and is new Square D (I can check). Questions are: Does the SER need to be in conduit outside along wall? Is it okay that SER not be run in conduit behind knee wall to subpanel? Is the LB going to cause a bend radius problem? If any part is invalid, please advise on how to best run cable/wires to this subpanel in attic basically above outside main panel. I really appreciate the expertise. Jeff
