aesthetic while in-use weatherproof cover - anyone know one that won't make you puke?

Too bad they don't seem to make a recessed wall-access box for the purpose in bronze or stainless... (or at least that I know of)

Arlington makes some decent stuff.

Spray an Arlington box with Zinc-it ;-)

If you are cutting in to lap siding, the "Siding
Profile Adapter Plates" from Arlington have
made me look like an aesthetic genius , which
is not easy to do, although it was hard to find
a supplier.

How about this one. It pulls open and closed. Tay Mac Corp.

I got a couple of samples from them for free a while back, they look pretty nice installed, I just wonder how long the accordian expansion thing will hold up, I dont know if they could hold up to daily use, I installed them in a location that will most likely only get used for a christmas display.

I also got 2 free samples. My bet is that hardly ever get used anyway so they will probably do just fine. Of course if it is for a fountain or pond pump you may be correct. Job security--:D

I actually use a low profile one from Lowes. It appears to be pretty unobtrusive. Carlon also makes a fairly low profile one.

I just made it mandatory to use Arlington's In-Box on all of our jobs. I have always hated the look of in use covers, but now it's at least non-pukeable.

Is "non-pukeable" covered in article 100? :)

The 'in-box' is certainly less pukable - although - It would be nicer with a bronze powder coat in my particular situation - and would change my shot-crete date at this point - like Yesturday! Thinkin' of a T&B die cast CKSGV - stripped and powder coated to match other hardware - by others.... Just wish some of the off the shelf brands and products had a better appearance to 'em.... A WP Cannon plug looks better than most for the same effect - IMO.
