raider1 Senior Member Staff member Location Logan, Utah Aug 23, 2011 #2 Not if you use 2 single pole AFCI breakers. Single pole AFCI breakers do not function on multiwire branch circuits due to the fact that they incorporate GFPE protection as part of the AFCI function. Chris
