afci interpretation

at one of are i.a. e. i. meetings this question came up . THE lite in the walk in closet located in the bed room is it required to be part of the afci circuit . 210 12 (b) only adress outlets in the bedrooms. Is the walk in closet considered to be part of the bed room since it is clasifed a closet .

Is a bathroom you enter from a bedroom a bathroom or the bedroom?

The closet would be no different, it is not the bedroom, it is a seperate room.

I would probably wire the closet from the bedroom circuit if it were the most convenient cicuit, but that would be the only reason.
