Do you guys do this in homes for the dining room and breakfast receptacles per 2008?

I have been doing this because that is how I interpreted it.

Amirite?

PS: Can someone teach me a trick or to with the search feature?
I tried searching this with no luck.

If it's in those locations , it has to be on an AFI....You actually put those on with the small appliance circuits?...Wow, didb;t think anybody actually did that(anymore)

As I understand it, if you wire the kitchen small appliance circuits separately from the dining room circuit you do not need AFCI protection on the kitchen counter circuits. However, if you wire to the dining room circuit(s) first and then run to the kitchen counter circuit(s) then the dining room circuit will have to be AFCI protected and kitchen counter circuit(s) will end up being both GFCI and AFCI protected.
