AFCI protection for the dining room?

I should have posted this in the NEC spot.I thought we can use the SABC?

You can use the sabc but the section that ends up in the dining room must be arc fault-- thus the entire circuit would be arc fault unless you can find an arc fault recep. Someone told me P & S makes them...
 
can Arch fault Receps sense faults up stream from them. In other words if an arc fault occurs between the panel and the recep will it pick it up? If so its still cant disable the breaker feeding it. So does an Arc fault recep negate half the purpose of an Arch fault.

I am not even sure it exists but if no arc fault protection is required between the panel and a sabc-as mentioned- then what difference would it make if you used an arc fault recep. at the last recep. on the counter feeding to the dining room. Again I have not been able to locate one.
