Otherwise I agree that you can not arrange it to transfer to a non AFCI protected circuit if it was already existing with AFCI.

The bold text is what triggered me to ask the question of where the outlets for the fridge and AC would be located also.

2014 NEC it doesn't matter if you are not running a new branch circuit or extending the existing branch circuit more then 6 feet.
