That would be the one.
It may be safe without GFCI protection but it will be safer with GFCI protection.

I will bring my big hammer. :D

In my own old house I went to change a broken GFCI at the sink, well it would not pull out of the box.

It turned out to be an older GFCI with pigtails and it was installed in a shallow old work box, the pigtails ran right out of the box and the splices where made in the wall. :roll:

There is a Wiremold extension box there now.
