Air Compressor Motor

Looking at table 430.52. I don't know what type of motor an air compressor uses. Does anyone know?

Generally, I would say "electric."

haha yes it is a 3 phase 480V "electric" motor. im not sure if it is wound rotor/squirrel cage/synchronous/or some other type though.

Almost certainly squirrel cage induction motor. Only large sizes say greater than 50hp may be something else.

I have an old air compressor that has a 3.5hp internal combustion motor.

Is its fuel line sized for 100% of the non-continuous load plus 125% of the continuous load?
