Hello everyone,
I am new here and I am wiring a Rheem RANL037JAZ , the specs say a min of 30/30 or max of 40/40. It is a Square D panel. Can I put a 2 pole 40 amp breaker that looks like the attachment, basically it has the 40 amp switch only on one side or do you have to have one with 2 40 switches with that plastic thing that makes them go on and off together, I hope someone will understand that. The other thing is, is it still a 30 inch clearance from the disconnect to the a/c unit? and does it still have to have a receptacle someone near it? My last question is do they make slim 15 or 20 amp arc fault breakers? If not can you still put 2 bedrooms on one arc fault breaker? and I heard now just about every outlet and light has to be on an arc fault. Thank you to whoever can help me. Have a nice day...
