Air Craft Shelters

Does aircraft shelters with opened walls structure (4-sides) are treated as an enclosed hangar space with regards hazardous classification? I was trying to do a search on that but nothing came up. It appears they might fuel the aircraft from a portable fuel truck while it's in the shelter. We have some electrical equipment such panelboards, transformers and a switchboard. The switchboard is a floor mounted which will be with the CID2 haz. class zone (up to 18" AFF). Any thoughts? Thanks,

I worked on one permanent hangar and one temporary hanger and the classified locations were determined by where the location of the aircraft would be parked and dimensions relative to that. None of the electrical equipment along the walls of the hangar or any of the conduits crossed into the classified area.
