I have not tried foam yet but getting ready to restock so figured I might ask what you guys are using and your procedures? Different for PVC vs EMT or rigid? Water based for easy clean up?

I carry three different lubes on my truck. Each has different characteristics and is useful for different situations.
Yellow 77 - medium to large wires, long pulls, very slippery, stays wet a very long time. Very messy cleanup, stains clothes.
Clearglide - Light to medium wires, medium pulls, somewhat less slippery, drys out fairly quickly. Easy cleanup. No staining.
Klein Foam - Light wires, short pulls, slippery while wet but drys very quickly. Most useful for liquidtite whips. Practically no cleanup.

I think part of what spawned my question is we are doing some pulls knowing there might be changes down the road in which new wire will need pulled. We have had this issue before where we pulled it in just fine but after the fact, getting that wire out or using it to pull more sucks.

These will probably be pulls of 100ft or so.

The foam works great. Less mess, easy to store, you don't need much, last a long time if used probably.
If I had long run with multiple bends and larger gage wire I would probably go with the blue gel.
