"RABBIT TAILS" , the home_insurance company asked if the outlets and such devices had rabbit tails . I have exhausted the knowledgeable I know and it has either been no reply or a simple miscommunication {refering to the copper pigtails added from device to line with what looks like antiox/shrink wrap} . thanks

The code does not allow the mixing of dissimilar metals, like copper and aluminum connections per Article 110.14. I do believe there are a few products on the market like "IDEAL 65 Twister Retrofits." I have also heard that there have been problems with these and other connectors especially with non-UL listed knock-offs.
The code does allow Al to be directly connected to devices if listed for use. See Articles 404.14(C) and 406.2(C) per specific requirements.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has a publication #516 that has information about repairing aluminum wiring. It's available at:

I get the impression that they aren't too keen on the "purple wire nuts."

You need to read all of 110.14 and you would have seen

unless the device is identified for the purpose and conditions of use.
