All Hours No Test

Hey Guys, Here's my Dilemma. I Went through all 4 years of ABC schooling and Have completed all Required hours for an Inside Wireman, but I haven't passed the Electricians Journeyman's test. I was Sponsored so I was never an ET. I was recently let go after completing all my hours. Can I still work as an Apprentice? California if it helps. Thanks in Advance.

You can re-test out of pocket when you’re ready, but if your local market is adverse to JW wages, perhaps re-hire 1st.

If you take the self-employed handyman route CSLB wont let you sit for licensing exam, without 8000 hrs of invoices proving no violations of B&P 7048.

Self employment was good back in the day, before google maps showed all the trunk slammers hanging out their shingle in my neighborhood.

I suppose I can take that as a yes, I can work after completing ABC but not having my J Card. Thanks!

I think in CA someone on here said you have to be actively enrolled in a program for your apprentice cert to stay active?
Just retest and pass this time.
What got you on the test?
