Roger ,if we are sticking to only the original post,you answered it on the second post.So even the 3rd post (by you) was not needed or any others.

Talk about the number of receptacles on a circuit.

Just finished a new house final inspection.
Three bed rooms, all on one AFCI.
A 3 light fixture (3x60) in each bedroom.
A total of four (60watt) closet lights.
13 receptacles.

It's not a code violation, but it was the first time I run into a brand new home with only one bedroom circuit.

There was a dozen other violations tho.

Hope he has fun when that AFCI trips and isolating it out of 20 items.Probably thaught he really saved.When afci first came into view i seen this as a possible way some might try to save.All an inspector can do is write the violation from NEC .How nit picking he gets is up to him.Would suggest he use more than one but thats all an inspector could do.Most electricians will understand what the inspector is saying.
