Hi All,
I work at a plastics factory as a maintenance tech. I questioned my supervisor about the equipments electrical feed support stands. The stands are bolted to the floor, made of unistrut and also supports the water drops from the chillers. So I was hoping someone could tell me where I can find more info on supports. My supervisor also has the 6 inch water mains ran above the buses.
Thanks Freyr660

Good Morning, Dedicated Equipment Space
110.26(F)(1)(a) through (F)(1)(d).

110.26(F) Dedicated Equipment Space. All switchboards, panelboards, distribution boards, and motor control centers shall be located in dedicated spaces and protected from damage.

I don't think conduit qualifies under this section.

I don't, in general, see any serious problem with using a pipe rack to run both piping and conduit.

As long as none of the mentioned equipment is under the water pipes, no problem.
