I think I finally get it. Chris had me going back over this thread for about the 6th time before I figured it out. I'm sending him a bill.:D

"There are two of each kind, making a set for Al and myself, plus one more for guests."

Fulthrotl's formula was the key, so he gets a cut.

Great job finally figuring out math! I hate to see some of these posters doing demand calculations.

I just tow excavator with me...shovels are for laborers not electricians.

The title to this thread is all wrong.

It should be "How many electricians does it take to figure out a math problem?"

I found a shovel we lost a couple months ago today. Grading shovel. Now our guest will have a nearly complete set. Any takers?

I really didn't expect that to be a math problem. I think it was more of an English problem.:roll:

That Southern hospitality is something. Where else would a guest get their own shovel. I have an etiquitte question though. When the guest is opperating the shovel is it still apprpriate to refer to it as a "goon spoon."??:D
