Alternative for LFMC

Hi,

I was going to post this in the photovoltaic forum, but I think this is more of a general question:

Is there a less expensive, Code-compliant alternative to liquid-tight flexible metal conduit? For solar installs, those long DC optimizer output circuits that run through the attic can get expensive.

If it is in the attic, it is in a dry location, and the L in LFMC is no longer needed. FMC and EMT can be used instead. Metal Clad cable can also be an alternative.
