Picked up a brochure on aluminum EMT, a new product the marketplace.
Much lighter than steel, same price in smaller sizes, less expensive in larger sizes, as its made from recycled product.

Interesting. I'm 99% certain if I walked into the supply house and asked for it, they would tell me it's not manufactured. :roll:

Worked with a guy that does electrical work at a power plant south of San Antonio. He said that aluminum is what they mainly use.

So, is a person expected to use regular EMT fittings with it?

The specs recommend die cast fittings but I can't see set screw fittings working out too well
