raider1 Senior Member Staff member Location Logan, Utah Jun 27, 2008 #2 680.42(C) requires that the equipment grounding conductor in the feeder be a copper conductor. So you could not use an aluminum cable assembly such as an SER or SEU cable that doesn't contain a copper EGC. Chris
