Does the NEC permit aluminum feeders to the disconnect for a residential hot tub? Or does 680.42(C) limit me to copper only?

680.42(C) requires that the equipment grounding conductor in the feeder be a copper conductor. So you could not use an aluminum cable assembly such as an SER or SEU cable that doesn't contain a copper EGC.

SER and SEU also comes in copper.
