I guess I'm not an aluminum guy I use mostly copper for everything however I have to change a old challenger panel 100a main and it's fed with copper feeders coming from the meter however there is only one #4 aluminum bare grounding wire coming out and it is tagged onto a euford ground in the concrete in the basement and then jumps to the street side of the water meter and that's the ground. From what I know the ground to the rod and the ground to the water meter is supposed to be separate? Is this legit or do I need to run another ground wire and separate the two the ground rod and the water meter. Any thoughts on this will be helpful thanks guys
