Read the listing information on the wirenuts you will be using to be sure that you are covered. I am pretty sure that the wirenuts are not rated for alum to alum splices so you must have the copper wire in with it. The only alum to alum connector is the alumicon from King industries that I know of. I would think that aluminum wire would be the best use for an afci breaker but I dont know if they are listed for this I have the packaged info and will look into it later. How much is a good price to charge for this per device? Almost 15 bucks in material to start. Book time on an install is .2 hours which is 12 min per but you have removal too. I hate Aluminum in smaller sizes. I dont mind it when I can hypress terminations though.

$10.91 for outlets and switches, .25 man hours each. the wire nuts are a $1
each. The lighting fixtures I priced .5 manhours = $19.82 each. I was going to reuse the switches and the outlets,(if not loose) .I hope I did not leave my self short.

Just found out The wirenuts are 1.69 each. There is a crip on the market but you have to be copalum certitied. I will go back and take a second look at my estimate.

How about replacing the devices rather than re-terminating them?

Your figures are about 1/3 of what I charged the last time I did this type of job.
