I heard on Mike holt videos that actual load on residential feeder and service conductors is 1/3 of calculated . That was before EVs

I have friends in Canada that install 80 to 100 amp service for single dwelling. With everything being as efficient as it is, LED, and so on you can.

Yeah, and often the actual service size is also 3x calculated.

For years I lived in an old house with the old 50 or 60 amp Bakelite pull thing for a main fuse.

Had an electric range, electric water heater, electric baseboard heat (hardly used), electric dryer.

Everything just worked.
