I realized the other day the code uses the term residential throughout. There is no definition for residential, for example column 4. If I am at a high rise condominium complex with offices or retail on the first floor, is that residential? How about the same, with only a managers office laundry room, dayroom, vending on the first floor?


Residential should be defined where is matters.
