Anti-Shortage Sleeve for MC Cable

Hi All,
Wondering if anybody knows the most recent NEC decision in regards to use of anti-short sleeve for MC Cable. My question is if we use connectors like Arlington 38AST which has a mfg. installed sleeve, in addition to that do we have to install the extra sleeves which comes with the role of 250 ft MC Cable. Thanks for your reply.

They are not required no matter which connector you decide to use.

For reference look at 320.40 for AC cable and then look at 330.40 for MC cable.
