We have to upgrade services to 100Amp Some smart building engineer specify MICC cable to do so.
we have a troff in a services stairway and we have to use it to run our cable inside of it.
Do anybody seeing any issue with it. Do you have any good tips working with this type of the cable, because this will be our first time.
Thank you

Buy the proper type of MI cable. They have fire rated and non-fire rated. What is spec'ed. Probably fire rated if it is in a stairway.

I had used MI cable in the past, when I didn't have enough room for conduit to get from "here to there", and MI Cable can be used in free air. If the reason to use MI in your case is to use the free air ampacity tables, then do not install it in trough.

For example Pyrotenax System 1850Z is 2-hour firerated, and System 1850 is non-fire-rated.
