Weatherman predicted 6" of snow last week. We got zip.

Many years ago (~87 or '88) I remember that a local (Boston) TV weather man got busted for taking money from Toro (Snow blowers) to say a big storm was on the way... The guy went so far as to say it would rival the 'Blizzard of 78' - which dumped 3 feet.... (Add a convieniently placed ad for snowblowers following blatent lie... )

At the time - I was working as a warehouse foremen for Mass Gerneral Hospital - we had disaster passes and "HAD to work" if there was one. Everyone got worried that they might be stuck working for a week or two straight, and not be able to go home for any of it. So I looked at all the satelite pic's - it didn't look too bad to me - I took bets for "only a dusting" and cleaned up... A few days later when the scandel broke I was handing money back - a mighty sad day....

You guys are all missing the boat, we plow the customers lots as an added service. :wink:

It brings in extra money but all the stock falls off the shelves.

"Anyone do any plowing"?... I use to, but I had to let the 'ole mule go! He was eating to much!!...then got me one of those tractors, and gas went to well over $3 a gallon! DoooOOOH!
