I never have, but i remember someone here saying that drilled holes can only be filled to 60%. I know I have put more than that in them but have never had it brought to my attention buy an inspector.
Heck,Paul Abernathy will fail you at the drop of a hat for exceeding the fill of a fire stopped hole.
If more than 2 nm cables are going in a hole to be fire stopped or draft stopped, derating will apply.
If you're not draft stopping or fire stopping, you don't have to worry about it

I'm saying nothing. I do work in Richmond.Heck,

Up to 9 ccc it will not affect the final ampacity of the NM cable conductors in general. After 9 ccc then one has to plan.

Me too!I agreed with Pierre so I'll let him explain. :grin:
Me too!
I thought NM was to be rated per the 60-deg column.EX. 310.16 says 14 is good for 25 amps

14 = 20a
12 = 25a
