Hey All,

Appreciate all the help and responses a head of time.

My electrician is replacing the main panel in a house we are renovating and says the existing SEC is properly sized for a 100 AMP application. I know I need a minimum of #2 aluminum for 100 AMP service. There are no markings on the jacket and I don't see a main switch designating service size at the existing panel.

Does this look like #2 to you experts? Seems a bit small. I try to pay close attention to these sorts of things and would like to just double check what my electrician is saying.

Thanks again guys!

There is really no way for us to truly tell from some pics. Your electrician is there and and is a better source of info. We could only merely speculate.
