The arc-fault breakers for my Square-D Homeline 200 amp panel are not available anymore due to the factory shutting down from COVID-19 and employee strikes. All of my branch circuits are already installed with standard 15 or 20 amp circuit breakers in the panel. Will I be code compliant if I install a single gang box per circuit with a Leviton AGRBF-W in each branch circuit? This is a stand-alone arc-fault device without a receptacle. If so I plan to install a bank of single gang boxes next to the panel, pull back the wires from the panel to the new boxes, and install new branch feeds from the panel.
This will make the arc fault device easily accessible and protect all of the circuits as well.
