I'm almost finished slabbing an energized POCO vault and the GC will be working in there with rebar and mesh. He keeps talking electrocution hazard while I'm stressing arc flash. Does anyone know of a paper that can explain this to a non-electrician? Something like "Arc Flash for Dummies".

if his guys get fried it won't make much difference how he envisions it. (its not like they are going to have time to get out alive)

Thats good, I can I E-Mail that to the GC?

As a link in an e-mail I think. If he can open a pdf (Adobe reader, I think)

If you print the doccument you could fax it to him.

One touchs an electrocution, they might or might not creat an arc flash...

If you that concerned, talk to all the people that are going to get into the Vault.

Nice Link Blue

Those are just the basics???

As basic as you might find. Especially the first three sections. After that.....

The charts and statistics might bore the layman....

Unless, of course, they watch Roger's link.

Nothing like a good Arc Flash video to make you pucker.
