Am I correct in saying that as of April 1st, 2006 OSHA adopted the NFPA safety requirements regarding arc-flash?

Where did you get this information? I am a subscriber to the OSHA bi-weekly newsletter and never saw anything about this. I assume you mean the NFPA 70E guidelines?

I don't remember where I saw this but for some reason that date stuck in my mind so that's the reason for the question.

Last I heard they were voting back in December on the proposed standard (Docket S-215) but I have not heard anything else. I am sure it will be adopted soon but I couldnt find anything on the OSHA website about 4/1/06.

If anyone can verify, please do.

I am not aware of any formal acceptance of a recent version of NFPA 70E by OSHA.
OSHA has been enforcing the latest version of NFPA 70E, adopted or not, because it is considered to be a consensus standard and is used to determine safety compliance.
