Anyone heard a standard for Arc Flash protection levels & protection?

What equipment/protection is to be provided with your switchgear for certain levels of Arc Flash potential?

Safety Glasses?
Rubber Gloves?
Face Shields?
Rubber Mats?
Body suit?

I am currently going through that now with 3 buildings. There is no definitive answer. Too many variables. As stated earlier obtain a copy of 70E and study it then attend a safety orientation course. It will be an eye-opener.

I do NFPA 70E training courses and arc flash studies for facillities and Jim is right, it is not that simple.

If you can post (or PM me) with some details about your power system maybe I can give you a basic idea of what to expect.
