im interested in using the arlington garden posts for receptacles for pool equipment. will the garden post be able to accept 2 3/4 inch pvc conduits using knockouts or something similar to support the pipes inside
 
I use them and I like them. They come with an insert to support conduits. The holes are 1/2" but I don't see why you couldn't use a pvc reducer at the end, or use a step bit to enlarge them to 3/4".

the only thing I dont like about them is when I screwed a gfci in one a few weeks ago the plastic part that held the 6/32 craked a little bit . it still held the outlet but why did it crack in the first place?
