all i could find is some fiberglass tape. its a class B insulator. gonna go with that for now. i think im gonna test to see if i get a voltage drop on start up. i have a feeling i might have bad bearings.
If you have bad bearings the motor will make an whumm, whumm, whumm sound, not to be confused with the regular sixty hertz humm. If you have really bad bearings you will be able to move the shaft of the motor up and down. It's just a tiny bit of movement, not to be confused with end playing/back and forth movement.
