sorry I didn't specify outdoors, yes permanent pools, over 42' deep. I am reading that the twist lock is needed when for cord and plug and more than 5' , less than 10', from the pool.


The pumps come with 3' cord. I did use #10, it was about 100" of wire, but i was a bit worried that if there was a problem with startup I might have wished that I had used #10, that is why I used #10, I guess if I was closer I might use #12 now.

I put the general use rec. between 10' and 20'.

MPD, check the date.Its 2008. The 5' changed to 6'
