Having a disagreement on article 445.13. If a 480/277 500 KVA generator has a 600amp breaker mounted on the the side of the generator.

Does the 115% of the name plate stop there or does it also apply the the feeder from that breaker to the Panelboard.
 
445.13 indicates the ampacity from the generator terminals to the first distribution device containing OCPD to be not less than 115%. Since you have a set mounted breaker, IMHO, you now need to consider the circuitry from the set mounted breaker to your next piece of equipment, just a regular feeder @ the set mounted OCPD size.
