The pole does not ask if Article 90 is part of the code, IMO it is.

IMO the answer to that is no, it is not enforceable or citable or red tagable.

I did see your first question, we just disagree. :smile:

EC says "no, carnivals aren't covered by the NEC" Inspector says "Yes they are, see 90.2, and I am definitely enforcing 90.2".

You would not be 'enforcing' 90.2, 90.2 would cause you to enforce the rest of the NECs rules at that carnival.


But I do agree with Don that without 90 the NEC would be a mess.

Maybe you can look at Art 90 as an introduction/guide on how the code book is structured.
