I have a few questions on (2) different installations I am doing..
1) 200a ATS.. (3/0 CU.) with no WP.. have (2) existing #6 to grd. rods to ATS.. from ATS to panel do I need #4 CU. or #6 as per 250.66?
2) 400a service.. (500 KCM CU.) with (2) 200a ATS.. no WP.. do I run #2 CU. as per 250.66 between ATS's and to existing grd. rods?
This section is my grey area..but is main electrode and not supplemental..
(E) Supplemental Electrode Bonding Connection Size.
Where the supplemental electrode is a rod, pipe, or plate
electrode, that portion of the bonding jumper that is the sole
connection to the supplemental grounding electrode shall
not be required to be larger than 6 AWG copper wire or 4
AWG aluminum wire.
