We always struggle attaching half inch plywood to a cement block wall. Any suggestions for a bullet proof way to do this?
We have not had luck with these. The thickness of the block is only 2"? and the concrete is soft.We use hammer in anchors like these:

I've never had a problem with them but you do need to ensure that you're using the correct length anchor. Problem with block is that when the drill goes through into the hollow space it tends to blow out the back of the hole leaving a small amount of concrete left. When possible this can be mitigated by drilling into the solid portion of the block typically at the ends and middle of the block. We have not had luck with these. The thickness of the block is only 2"? and the concrete is soft.
