Attempting to Ease My Mind....

I am an avid DIY Homeowner in Ohio... I am comfortable with most things, but have questions about my home (I bought it 3 years ago and questions have arisen since doing some repairs/upgrades.) I bought a foreclosed home 'as is, no disclosures' that WAS inspected, but I think a couple things were missed, especially in the Electrical System.

The house is roughly 90 years old and of course was originally and still partially K&T. I am in process of replacing this and have noted some discrepancies in the Circuit Panel (don't know when it was replaced, don't know if it was inspected, or anything else because of the disclosure status...)

Issues:

1) No outside grounding rods -- K&T was never grounded to my knowledge...correct?

2) Has Square-D Homeline Main Panel now 100 AMP, -- Shouldn't 'Green Bonding screw' be used? Grounds & Neutrals are combined, but found Bonding screw laying on top of box recently.... Could the K&T explain the reason?

3) Looks like #6 Wire is used from Meter to box -- Sufficient for 60 amp (usual K&T install, as I remember), but don't think sufficient for 100 amp...

4) Outside Service Entrance is old, without any readable markings greyish insulated (probably original)....How do I determine capabilities (amperage), without involving power company or inspector?? Can't afford a complete rewire and don't want to be unsafe.

I have very low power requirements, Dryer, Range only high-draw appliances...PCs, TV, lights. Never any issues with lights, indicating over amp, etc. except on the K&T I have had a chance to replace yet. Usually with Drill, Saw doing other remodeling. So, I have some time to fix, if given reliable information.

OK, I know long post, but I'm looking for help on the DL to allow me time to fix properly....

Please be gently....1st Post.
