Apparently I have fallen victim to an internet prank. I went to snopes.com and did a search on painted cats and guess what? There is apparently no truth to the fact that these cats were really painted and that people were spending mucho bucks for this. It was taken from a humorous book about cats that was suppose to create ethical debate.
