New here and trying to troubleshoot a problem and hopefully get an education with some Baldor motors. What I have is a Baldor 15hp motor on a walk behind concrete saw. The motor is an EM2333T. It's wired for 480 volts and has a rated amp draw of 18 amps. I'm powering it with a 25KVA Multiquip generator and using 150 feet of 10/4 cord. For about 3 months of use from new, (20) hours, everything worked well. The motor would easily pull 18 amps. There is an ammeter on one of the legs. If more load was applied it would pull more amps, I would back off the load back to 18 amps. Now it will start normal, for a generator power start, but now it will only pull a max of 15 amps and anything more, the motor stops and will not pull anymore amps under load, will just sit at 15 amps with the motor stopped under load. I did use another generator to see if it was a power problem but is doing the same thing. I've tried a 50 foot cord and tightened the connections, no change. The voltage is 478 at the start switch and 60 hertz. I am using a SE GV2ME21 manual starter. Changed that with a new one and no change. I did notice the no load amp draw is 9 as where Baldor says 7. Where should I be looking to get this motor to start pulling full load amps?
