Just got into this thread and thought i would throw in my 2 cents.

I agrre with all that say stay away however if you really want to do this I would figure the job as if you were supplying everthing and doing everything.
Figure what profit you would want to make on it. Then price the labor and add you profit on that and give him that price. If he balks, oh well.

I hope your hourly rate is, like 3 times higher than what journeymen in your area are making. Even though you are new, you have overhead. Did you pay for testing? For licensing? Bond? Insurance? Advertising? Fuel? Vehicle maintenance? New tools? Etc?

If you give your work away for nothing, than that's about all it will be worth!
