Can I wire multiple disconnect switches from the same 120V circuit breaker?
I know an electrician wires many receptacles etc. in parallel from one breaker but is this ok to do with disc. switches loads as well?
ThanksView attachment 20457
generally yes. no real reason to open the neutral at the switch though.
There are a lot of mechanical configurations of "disconnects". Some have solid neutrals, others no neutral terminal bar at all, others have the neutral going though a switch.I just have some small 120V HVAC loads, each with its own fused disc., and I just want to make sure I can wire them both to the same circuit breaker at the panel.
The switch should interrupt (open) the hot conductor when you turn it off but not the neutral.Thank You. I am not sure what that means though to "open the neutral" at the switch.
