Most houses won't leak 110 cfm in to allow a bath fan to vent at full capacity anyway...

Might be better said that some of the newer small energy efficient homes may not allow ....

I lived in several that the front door alone let that much in.

Here in MA electricians are not allowed to do duct work.

I'm with you on this. Can you imagine bidding on an existing residential job and telling the HO they have to hire an HVAC guy to do the duct work ? You'd never get any remodel work.

Believe it or not they are enforcing this rule,an electrical permit and a Sheet-metal permit must be pulled to legally do it now.

It adds about $500-800 to a job that use to sell for about $450-550...

Only if they are licensed electricians too.
