Please advise code on bathroom ventilation for multi familly housing,ie.apartments,retirement homes, etc. Does this require a fire damper system?

SORRY i can not answer your question , but if i could , i would need more info , type of heat ,existing ductwork?, building classification new or old, not in that order. GEO

check with the AHJ in your area for the requirements. they can tell you. the requirements vary from location to location, and state to state.

Candy,

These requirements should be found in the Building Codes adopted by your area. The Fire Marshall should be a good person to ask.
