We need to start building bathrooms like they do in Japan... where every surface is waterproof and the whole room could be hosed down with a pressure washer.

So that’s where that came from, wired an apartment attached to a store front manufacturing plant, the young man that runs it is of Japanese descent, and built the bathroom that way.

Considering the tropical exposure, that could apply to EVERY surface of a house in the Philippines.
