Are there exceptions for GFCI feedthroughs in Bathrooms. Customer wants two receptacles in a bathroom. The first GFCI receptacle is within 3' of basin. No problem, but can I feedthrough it to protect the second receptacle which is on another wall? Do all bathroom receptacles have to be GFCI type or just GFCI protected? If not, then I'll save a few bucks with a regular receptacle.

Thanks

No exceptions...ALL 125V 15/20A recpts. are GFI'ed.

You can feed though to protect other receps.

GFCI protection is required for all bathroom receptacles. See 210.8(A)(1). Also note the lack of exceptions for bathrooms.

How you provide the protection is up to you. It is very common to supply downstream receptacles from the load side of a GFCI receptacle in residential.

There is no prohibition from feeding receptacles other than the required ones in the bathroom. However, the bathroom receptacle outlet circuit shall have no other outlets (as in, outside the bathroom). 210.11(C)(3).

They should of sold a 6-pack and a pound of peanuts as one item.

Uh, I sure hope there is no beer in those cans. Not only would it have gone bad, but unless the person has a license to sell beer, they could wind up in big poopey trouble.

Now, if you want to see a BEER, this would be a picture of a BEER. The 5 gallon bottle behind it is what I make beer in (that's wine in the process of clarifying at the moment). The Corona bottle is for comparision. It's 2 liters of 8% alcohol beer of some variety that I've since forgotten. I'd have to figure out which cases it was made with ...

I guess they would be in big poopey:

These Items Are Sold As Collectibles And Are Not For Consumption. Must Be 21 Years Of Age To Order. They Are No Longer Being Distributed To The Best Of My Knowledge.

I Have Different Amounts Of Each Year. They Are New, Full, And In Excellent Condition Unless Otherwise Noted. I Have Opted To Sell By The Single Can So People Can Complete Their Collection, But Will Sell By 6 Pack Or A Whole Set.

I doubt you can get in trouble for selling liquor as a collectors item...but what do I know - there are all sorts of arcane laws.

Yup, though I understand that might qualify them to be electricians under the "At least 2 DWI's or 1 felony" requirement :)

So far as I know (and if you check my siggie, I have reason to know) selling alcohol is selling alcohol. It wouldn't be the same big poopey trouble if I sold mine (it's all untaxed -- I'm a moonshiner :) ), but they could well be running afoul of a number of state and federal laws.

(On the other hand, if I were that person and I were arrested, I'd argue that it is no longer "beer" since after that many years it's likely undrinkable.)

NOW thats a beer, you sure put corona into perspective, small and weak by comparison. My question is Pale Ale or stout?
